Hi! I'm Aly MacDonald, and I've always loved animals. I started Precious Pooch Dog Walking because there's nothing I'd rather do than spend time with the furry creatures that share our world.
It's difficult to imagine a world without dogs. Pooches guard our homes, herd our flocks, guide our disabled, protect our communities, pull our sleds, warm our couches, share our snacks, wear our silly costumes, and love us with everything they have.
Our essential mission at Precious Pooch is to help the pups in our care get the exercise, attention, and affection that they deserve. Our dogs do so much for us, we want to help ensure that they are living their best lives.

We've Moved!
Precious Pooch is a small, family owned-and-operated business. Over the years, we have been lucky enough to share our homes with cats, guinea pigs, bunnies, birds, hamsters, gerbils, one goldfish, and lots- and lots!- of dogs.
Since 2012, we've served the dogs of Belmont, Massachusetts, but in the summer of 2024 we relocated to Hermon, Maine. Now we are excited to meet and get to know the pups in the greater Bangor area!

SERVICES AND FEES
Leash Walks
30 min: $20.00 one dog
+$5 additional household dog
A member of our team will visit your home and take your pup on a jaunt at their own pace. These walks take place around your neighborhood and are tailored to meet the individual needs of your furry friend.
Group Hikes
Our group hikes are a wonderful way for dogs to run free, socialize, and explore. These outings provide mental as well as physical stimulation, and are suited to active dogs. To qualify for group hike, a pup must be altered, free from all aggression towards people and other dogs, and either be previously trained in recall or walk well on leash.
60 min: $25.00 per dog, +$10 for additional household dog
PET SITTING
We offer pet sitting in the form of visits to your house throughout the day for walks, feeding, medication, litterbox maintenance, playtime, and snuggles. Overnight visits are available for pack members.
Between the hours of 9am-4pm- 15 min: $15, 30 min: $20
Between the hours of 7am-9am and 4pm-7pm, there is a $5 upcharge per visit
Cage Cleaning: $20+
Overnight rates are available on a sliding scale for pack members only.
